Welcome to Term 4 – the craziest/cruisiest/most stressful/shortest/most alcoholic/most fun term of the year!

For most of us, this term is all about damage control. But instead of limping over the Xmas/New Year finishing line, wouldn’t it be great to instead finish strong, with arms extended in victory pose!

So I’m continuing with the 28 day, $135 deal for another month.

The maths works as follows;

2 Sessions per week = $16.87

3 Sessions per week= $11.35

($20 extra for kayak hire and $7 extra for SUP hire – normally $37/$27 per session)

The logic is that payment in advance makes you do it!!

  • Schedule – I would love your feedback on this please as Mondays and Thursdays are in trouble!

Please can I have expressions of interest for 8:45/9/9:30.

I am going to also embark on an FB marketing recruitment drive.

As the temperatures rise, Mondays and Thursdays can also morph into SUP fitness.

Fridays and Kayak Fitness are still looking healthy so will continue:

Wednesday 9:15 Kayak Fitness, Oceanworld

Friday 9:30 HIIT, Little Manly

Saturday 8:30 Kayak Fitness, Oceanworld

Any other suggestions/comments/ideas for sessions are also welcome and appreciated!

  • Melbourne Cup - IMPORTANT

As we worship these beautiful animals on Tuesday 5th, In light of the recent coverage of animal cruelty, I would gladly have pulled the pin. As we have already booked and paid, here is a link to RSPCA who have a racehorse welfare program. Totally up to everyone, but I will sending any winnings straight to them.

We have a table booked for Newport Arms, a wonderful casual outdoor venue and great vibe for the race. Please let me know if you would like to join us. So far booked are: Carol Ann, Jen Sargeant, Jenny Pickering, Els plus 2, Nicky (possibly), Krys Lojek, Bella and myself.

My heart goes out to all the current and new Year 12s at this time of year. They are always welcome at sessions free of charge (except for kayak/Sup hire)

  • Jam in the Hood

Next Sunday, October 27 at the boatshed, 4:30 – 6:30, $15 per head fundraiser for MS, nibbles provided, byo drinks. All welcome!

  • Chocolate Christmas

Please pencil in Thursday, November 28 , venue tbc. Seems a while away, but I know it will be upon up before we know it – feels like yesterday since the last one!
