About Chocolate Fitness

 

I have been working with fabulous clients for the past 18 years which makes me quite wise by personal trainer standards!

 

During this time, I have seen so many fitness fads, diets, new fangled concepts and fitness gadgets as well as different approaches to injury prevention and rehab.

 

From what I have seen, most of the above is downright off-putting as well as unsustainable meaning personal goals are often shelved before the next round of new year's resolutions.

 

So...my approach is bring back the basics: burn calories and increase fitness safely and efficiently by building strength and stamina. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is translated into circuits, games, bootcamp style workouts, which still leave room for some good, old fashioned chat - I love my work and want to you love it too! The result will be that you will factor exercise into your daily routine with ease,enthusiasm and commitment.

 

Gyms have their place, but my gym boasts: stunning views, visiting wildlife, cooling dips in hot weather and normally the aroma of coffee not too far away. The great outdoors offers so much more variety for practical and functional training than the best equipped Fitness First.

 

And after all that hard work, now and again we all need a little treat! Chocolate Fitness is famous for our social chocolate nights and when you ask yourself the quintessential question: Is it worth the calories? I promise the answer will be affirmative! (See table spread to the right).

 

My Philosophy

A Chocolate Fitness session is never like a boring day in the office! Like a box of assorted chocolates, every session is varied plus it is planned, with both locations providing additional challenges and opportunities. Both locations are within the Manly/Balgowlah area and North Harbour Sailing Club provides a picturesque and idyllic wet weather option - it's always a bit of a treat when it rains. I am mobile, so I can come to you!

During our beautiful summer and autumn months , our waterside locations are often a fantastic opportunity for a dip.  If temperatures are soaring, we will often incorporate a water option into the workout session for those wanting to cool off, but rest assured it will be as challenging as it is invigorating!
